Santa Marta’s 2nd Annual Golf Scramble Brings More Fun to the Fairway for a Great Cause

More golfers, more prizes, and even more fun! Santa Marta’s 2nd Annual Golf Scramble returned on Monday, October 19, bringing together residents, friends, and supporters for a beautiful day on the course to support a meaningful cause.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s scramble welcomed even more golfers back to LionsGate Golf Club in Overland Park, KS, for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and community spirit.

With picture-perfect fall weather, plenty of prizes, and lots of laughter along the way, it was a wonderful day from the first tee to the final putt.

Playing for a Purpose

While the competition was fun, the real winner of the day was Santa Marta’s Benevolent Care Fund. The scramble raised over $45,000 to directly benefit the Benevolent Care Fund, which helps Santa Marta residents who experience financial hardship continue to call the community home.

The event was a tremendous success and a good reminder of what makes Santa Marta special.
