COVID-19 UPDATE | October 2, 2020

Friends and Family of Santa Marta,

As we kickstart the month of October, our community is grateful for the resilience of our residents, team members and their loved ones as we persevere through the pandemic.

In a testament to everyone’s support and cooperation with our precautions, we are happy to share that we still have no active cases of COVID-19 among residents. We have tested all residents in healthcare and all results received have come back negative, with a few results still pending.

Weekly testing for our entire healthcare staff is ongoing and test results this week were all negative. Six team members continue to self-quarantine and recover at home. We wish them a speedy recovery.

We hope to implement indoor visitation in the near future following local and state guidelines. In the meantime, we continue to encourage window visits and social media avenues to remain connected.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take appropriate steps to ensure the health and well-being of residents and team members at Santa Marta.
