Fraud Prevention Workshop

Join us for a Fraud Prevention Workshop led by Master Deputy Jack Weese of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, accompanied by his partner, Gus, a 7‑year‑old black Labrador Retriever trained as a Critical Incident Response dog. Deputy Weese brings nearly three decades of law enforcement experience, currently serving in the Community Policing Unit, where education and community connection are at the forefront.

During this session, attendees will learn how to recognize common scams, understand practical steps to avoid becoming a victim, and know what to do if fraud is suspected.
